Principal - Gabe Futrell
Gabe Futrell has been the principal for the past twelve years at Bill Metz Elementary. Previously he has been a teacher for ten years and an assistant principal for two years. He is married with two children who attend Monte Vista Middle School. His wife is a teacher at Marsh School. Gabe believes that building relationships is a priority. Students won't care about what you are teaching until they know that you care about them. He also wants the students to make the most out of themselves academically. That is why every student at BME gets intervention or enrichment everyday in reading and math along with the grade level curriculum.
